Returning from Paris for her annual Australian tour, British/Australian vocalist Hetty Kate presents Jazz in Four Seasons “Spring” (Volume 1), the first installment of her ambitious four-album series exploring the changing seasons through jazz standards and original compositions. Recorded in Prague with an all Czech band, this volume was inspired by the season’s hopeful yet unpredictable character – from gentle blossoms to sudden downpours – through carefully curated songs by Duke Ellington, Tadd Dameron, Dave Brubeck, and more.

Joined by four incredible Melbourne musicians, Hetty will bring this musical portrait of spring to life with her imaginative song choice and the warmth and wit audiences have come to expect.
