SLOW GRIND FEVER returns to Bar Open for more slow twisting, low dipping, neck kissing, and all that good stuff. We play the slowest, sleaziest, spookiest, sweetest, swinginest old records we can find, and people dance real slow in a haze of smoke and dim red light. It's a good time.
Alongside our Slow Grind Fever residents Richie1250, Mohair Slim and Pierre Baroni, the midnight set will see the return of Matt Twistin Fever, beloved host of the Twistin' Fever show on PBS (Fridays from 7 till 8). He always play a great set at Slow Grind, full of moody rockabilly twangers and greasy 50s instrumentals and odd things you never heard before. We can't wait to hear what he brings for the midnight set.
