HARD WAY BLUES (led by guitarist/vocalist Dave Miles), are a trio of well-seasoned professional players drawn from a bunch of different outfits: Bassplayer Tony Bonnici from award-winning Tamworth favourites from 2013 THE PRAIRIE OYSTERS; Drummer Darren McCarthy from early 00s rockers VON HYDER, Stones sound-alikes JAGGER’S BANQUET and rock/blues/mongrel country band DAVE MILES AND THE HARD WAY. Dave has 3 albums out on BandCamp (“You and The Horse You Rode In On”, “These Blue Miles” and a COVID album of favourite covers – “Influential”). HARD WAY BLUES will be drawing from this, as well as some blues classics from the 40s through to the 00s. The band has been slapping itself into shape with some gigs around town since 2020 and is absolutely firing on all 3 cylinders, like a hotted-up Triumph Rocket 3.
