Grant Siedle is a local musician who has been performing in and around Melbourne for many years. He leads a dual life, working as a musician and a swimming event producer (The Rip Swim). Strangely enough, each of these passions fuels the other. Those of you who know him from beach and water activities might be curious to see his ‘other side’!
After a long absence, Grant and his trio – Anthony Baker on drums, Adam Spiegl on bass, are looking forward to playing a live show at the wonderful Ruby Carter Jazz lounge. They will combine to deliver an interesting and varied collection of songs that he has collected over the years. You can expect a colourful afternoon of musical styles that includes jazz, blues and heartfelt ballads. Along the way there are bound to be some stories too. Last, but certainly not least, there will be the first performance of a short classical tune that Grant has written to be performed with his sister Justine on Violin.
The Ruby Carter lounge will provide the perfect place for this intimate show. It has a Grand Piano and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. After all we have endured recently, this could be just the tonic you have been searching for.
