Alt-folk band Grand Baxter are set to release their long-awaited EP Silverline in February, celebrating with a full-band gig at The Catfish in Fitzroy, with incredible folk singer-songwriter Flora, and beautiful trad folk duo Corn Nut Creek in support.

A long time in the making, Silverline is a statement of intent for Grand Baxter. With seven tracks that sway from sunny to sorrowful, the EP is a collection of songs that, in their own ways, talk about hope. With bombastic electric guitars, beautiful strings and delicate harmonies, masterfully produced by Dylan Knur and mixed by Zac Barter, Silverline gives listeners an exciting taste of what Grand Baxter will present in future.

A band of long-time collaborators Ben Langdon (songwriter, acoustic guitar), Dylan Knur (violin/mandolin) and Jack Wieseler (electric guitar), Maddison Carter (drums) and Isaac Gunno (bass), Grand Baxter has a chemistry and charisma bigger than the sum of its parts, best described as 'a bold hamper of honesty, musicality and folk charm.'
