Gallery presents Glaze, a new day time dance. Kicking off with a prog/house/garage twist featuring Amaliah (UK), Human Movement, Stev Zar and Ruby May Moon.
Nothing beats the feeling of the sun on your skin, a warmth that heats you from the outside in. Think flat out on a picnic rug, dripping wet on a beach towel, or dancing to chugging tunes…it’s undeniable, basking under our closest star is bloody beautiful!
Welcome to Glaze – a shiny new day party launching at Melb/Naarm’s Howler on November 30 featuring a cohort of producers from home and afar.
Headlining the courtyard space is the UK’s Amaliah, who continues to flourish like a well-watered plant. 2024 has seen the Borne Fruits label owner and RinseFM host play Dekmantel’s Main Stage, multiple slots at Glastonbury, Love International, B2B’s with Leon Vynehall & Danielle plus NYC’s iconic club Nowadays. Matching her sunny disposition, Amaliah delivers vivacious sets of progressive house, tribal techno while often dipping her toes into the cool pools of bass music.
No stranger to soaking up rays over Syd/Eora’s Eastern Beaches comes close friend and label affiliate Human Movement. Steaming hot from his latest Subtle EP drop with us along with a coveted release on La La’s Sound As Records, HM is chomping at the bit to serenade the glass-ceilinged space with powerful tech-house and UKG.
Also aboard this summer session is Melb/Naarm favourite Stev Zar, a gal who has landed recent gigs at Dekmantel Australia, MODE Festival, Sun Cycle, and Boiler Room Afterparty plus handpicked to feature on RinseFM UK by JYOTY. For those on a house/garage/UK funk tip, you’ll certainly be in luck.
Rounding out this luminous bill is London-based Sydneysider Ruby May Moon. A label collaborator on HM’s “Lost Wiv U”, the lanky and technically gifted DJ has played Amsterdam’s Radio Radio, Rinse FM and Netil plus is a key pillar in CLUTCH4LOVE. A gift of Ruby’s is being privy to glorious tracks that others aren’t…so you’ll have to come and hear what curveballs he has in store.
