Girls Rock! Melbourne presents September Showcase: The Future of Melbourne Music!

Girls Rock! Melbourne empowers female, trans, and gender diverse youth through educational music programs. We amplify young voices by building participants' self-esteem and confidence, and providing the tools and support needed for healthy creative expression.

Over 5 days at our September day camp, female, trans and gender diverse participants aged 10-17 will form bands, receive instrument instruction, attend empowering and educational workshops, watch lunchtime performers, and write original songs. By providing a positive, female/trans/non-binary-lead environment, this program creates leadership opportunities, cultivates a supportive community of peers and mentors, and encourages social change and the development of life skills.
