Formed in 1989 in Washington D.C, Girls against Boys (GVSB) were one of the most unique and

revered bands to emerge from the post-hardcore/noise rock scene of the 90's. Releasing a string

of acclaimed albums on some of the most important indie and major labels of the time, GVSB

proved themselves to be a band that went from strength to strength with each release during the

90's and early 2000's, and became one of the much loved live acts of the alt-rock international

festival and touring circuit.

2026 will see GVSB making a long awaited return to Australia for the first time in over 2 decades,

in celebration of the anniversary of the release of their album "Cruise Yourself" on the legendary

Touch and Go record label.

The members of the bands classic era:

Scott McCloud, Johnny Temple and Alexis Fleisig will be joined by John Schmersal of the much-

celebrated underground act Brainiac, for this very special Australian tour.
