Myki Jay (they/them) 5.30-6pm
Unashamedly queer, trans-non-binary folk singer and storyteller Myki presents a live show that could quiet a football field. Raised in the folk-drenched valleys of Eltham, NSW, Jays musical background is a tapestry of the folk tunes that raised them and the jazz music they studied later at university. Jay’s music delicately weaves a picture of activist sentiment that tells stories of overcoming, becoming and unfolding. From outstandingly charismatic to intimate, their silky, heart-felt voice and melodic lines will take you deep inside your heart for a moment of raw story telling.

Kodivine (they/them) 6.10-6.40pm
Kodivine is a jazz-school drop out with a kink for RnB grooves. Their tunes are best consumed with a cosmic spoon. Fresh from a 7-piece set at Wide Open Space festival, Kodivine is currently recording their new nu-soul EP ‘Butterfly Bones’. Their songs are honey-smeared political jabs that exist somewhere raw. Their delivery is cutting. Based on Arrernte Land in Alice Springs, Kodivine is in Melbourne for a hot second, on their way to tour in Canada.

George-Grace (she/her) 6.50-7.20pm
George-Grace is a whimsical and witty painter-songwriter with a flair for weaving memories into song. Hiding in a liminal space somewhere in Narrm/Melbourne, George pens tales of her journey with deconstructing faith, trauma, illness and, of course, navigating love and friendship in the face of a postmodern society. Marrying her background in musical theatre and jazz singing with a passionate love of folk storytelling and structure, George-Grace sings melodies in the key of her universally human plight: to be seen and understood amongst friends.
