Get ready to groove to forró at Bar 303 in Melbourne, as Fuá da Tita brings Brazilian rhythms, lively beats, and an unforgettable dance party! Don't miss it!

Fuá da Tita is a Naarm (Melbourne) - based forró band channelling the vibrant pulse of Brazil’s northeast. With roots in xote, xaxado, baião and arrasta-pé, our music is rhythmic, joyful and deeply connected to tradition. Influenced by icons like Luiz Gonzaga, Dominguinhos, Trio Nordestino, Os 3 do Nordeste… the band delivers high-energy sets that celebrate forró’s true essence: music made to dance.

Their contagious grooves and rich instrumental arrangements invite everyone - dancers or not - to move their bodies.

Whether it be at festivals or intimate venues, Fuá da Tita brings people together through rhythm, community and joy.

Coming up for this months edition we are bringing to you, in true Homebass fashion, a line up spanning across veterans of the scene to exciting up and coming acts of Melbourne.

- Temple Step

Temple Step is the sonic altar of Benjamin Last — a Melbourne-born, globally-touring electronic music producer, DJ, and ceremonial sound alchemist with over 30 years of experience moving dance floors, blowing minds and opening hearts. With over 150K monthly Spotify listeners, 16.5M+ streams, and a relentless international touring schedule across the USA, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Hawaii and Mexico.

Rooted in electronic dance music with cultural influences spanning Middle Eastern, African, Brazilian, and Latin traditions, Benjamin fuses sacred world sounds, ethnic instruments, and the sonic vision of world-class collaborators — including Hang Massive, Ape Chimba, Deya Dova, Nessi Gomes, Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom, Kalya Scintilla, Poranguí, Mixwell and many more — into a bold, layered world of Bass, House, and Downtempo music.

- Bass Shaman

A potent fusion of rave and flow, Bass Shaman delivers deep, immersive, sub-frequency driven sets. Inspired by a decade of the Aus doof scene, Bass Shaman's sets journey through guttural, phat dubstep, weaving in dark progressive psy, breaks, and drum & bass.

- Thais
Thais has spent years moving through dance floors, from hi-tech and psycore to drum and bass, weaving between forests, raves and open-air gatherings in different corners of the world. Her journey has never been linear, but beneath all the twists and tempo changes, 140 has always stayed at the core. Now she’s circled back to Melbourne and to old-school bass at the roots, blending it with heavier new rhythms and filthy whobs, grounded in the sound and the home that have always called her back.
