In this session of FREEDANCE we will be exploring, experimenting and embodying the theme of The Future.

Please ensure you arrive on time, doors open 6pm for 6:30 start. $20 cash or PayID.

No shoes, phones or talking on the dancefloor, respect the space, the practice, yourself and each other. Bring a water bottle and towel if you get sweaty.

FREEDANCE is an embodied, freestyle dance practice, a safe space that is open to all. This is an opportunity to move, breathe, be in the moment, process emotion, shift energy, express creativity, and build community. As always, diverse music for diverse movement.

Expect a broad yet cohesive selection of tunes, from techno to world music, indigenous to hip hop, bass to ambient, classical to psytrance, jazz to reggae, avant-garde to daggy-as-fuck, electronica to funk, folk to disco, new age to blues, Elvis to Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk to Mozart

FREEDANCE is held on the 2nd and final Saturday of the month. We dance on the sacred country of the Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung of the Kulin Nation, the traditional custodians of this land who have never ceded their sovereignty. We acknowledge their ancestors, past, present and future. Always was always will be.
