Melbourne singer-songwriter Floyd Thursby launches his new album ‘Every Day’s Another Dance’ at the JazzLab on Saturday 20 July at 2.30pm with Dan Witton on double bass and backing vocals.

Michelle Nicolle has forged a reputation Nationally and Internationally as a formidable and creative jazz vocalist-musician. Winner of multiple awards, she has appeared at festivals all over Australia and the world – from Tokyo to Siberia. Improvisor and composer Michelle has for the last 25 years led one of Australia’s most lauded creative jazz ensembles “The Michelle Nicolle Quartet”. For this concert Michelle and her group will turn on a celebration for the release of their 10 th album, aptly titled “10 – Michelle Nicolle Live at The Jazzlab”. Recorded during The Melbourne International Jazz Festival 2023 this new release is a showcase of Michelle’s composing talents, all nine tracks penned entirely by Michelle.
