FCPE (Flora Carbo Percussion Ensemble) is a dynamic project inspired by community, electronic music and patience. Focusing on restraint, pulse, glitch and disintegration; the music is loopy, fluid and intoxicating featuring the strengths of the diverse percussive improvising community.

This Friday February 20th Flora brings her ensemble to Mamma Chen's in the west joined by kindred musical spirits Bad Ambulance AV (Jack Palmer) and the premiere of The Department of Earthly Delights (Sofia Carbonara & Iran Sanadzadeh).

Mamma Chen’s acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation, the true owners of the land that we live and operate on. We would like to pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
