Amber Mic is hosting a series of fundraiser shows across for the people affected by the NSW/QLD Floods. The floods have caused so much devastation in Northern NSW & in parts of QLD and we're hosting a series of shows "Flood Relief" in March, April & May to help raise much needed funds for people affected.

The Thurs Mar 31st Flood Relief show at Brunswick Ballroom will feature Melbourne indie acts Agnes Blue, Dom Brinkley, The Delvenes & Age of Iguana.

Agnes Blue are a young aboriginal rock duo that have toured extensively all throughout QLD/NSW, and are no stranger to the East coast festival circuit. After taking time away from shows and writing, the band are back with a stunning new release, titled ‘Invisible Man’. Formerly from Murukutchi (Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast QLD) and now residing in the Northern suburbs of Naarm (Melbourne), rock duo Agnes Blue have announced the details for their next single release, titled ‘Invisible Man’. The band is made up of siblings Jack Blandford, who plays guitar and sings, and Frea Blandford on the drums. ‘Invisible Man’, AB’s latest track which is riff driven, yet euphoric and expansive in a way, features the debut of Frea (drums) writing lyrics for a track. Frea wrote the lyrics some time ago for a project whilst studying music performance, and Jack arranged the music and wrote the guitar and bass parts.

Melbourne-based psychedelic folk artist Dom Brinkley has just released his debut solo EP, 'Moonlight Dream'. After taking more of a blues route on the three standalone singles released in 2020, Dom has tapped into his folk sensibilities on his new EP, with empowering songs intertwined with the dreamy, sonic landscapes he conjures through his dazzling guitar playing. Lead single 'Crying' has been described as 'mystical' and 'a bit of hallucinogenic magic' by Triple J broadcasters Nkechi Anele and Dave Ruby Howe, whilst opening track 'Little Sparks' has been compared to being 'like Leonard Cohen going psychedelic' (music blogger Jon Magnusson). Atop a bed of acoustic guitar and Dom's raw vocals, the 'Moonlight Dream' EP weaves together layers of electric guitar, sitar and synths, to create a visual, meditative experience.

The Delvenes serve up Melbourne-flavoured surf twang with a tasty band-next-door jangle. These are sweet songs that are scuffed in all the right places. If you like strummy guitar-driven pop and Go-Betweens-y male and female vocals, slide up the volume on Sold On Spec and hit the highway. The Delvenes have got your back.

Psyche/Alt Rock 4 piece band from Melbourne. Age of iguana are Ben George (Guitar, Vox) Bernard Hickey (Bass, back Vox), Chris Taranto (Guitar, back vox) & Aidan Smith (drums) play their own brand of original music influenced by Oasis, Ride, Brian Jonestown Massacre.
