Marios has been a staple of the Fitzroy arts and culture scene since 1986, not only delivering raved-about Italian fare but also showcasing exhibitions by scores of emerging and prominent Australian artists alike.

For Fitzroy Now, contemporary artists who work across a variety of styles and with careers who sit slightly outside of the usual gallery scene have been invited to create a work that showcases their practice.
