Firm Filters return to celebrate the release of their second single ‘Take Me Up’.

Joining them on the lineup is indie/psych/soul-ers Tou-Can and folk singer-songwriter Emma Painter.

Firm Filters are a three-piece indie rock band formed in Naarm/Melbourne. Taking influence from folk rock, heartland rock, punk, new-wave and classic pop, their set is based around frontman Brad Woodward’s original songs. Completed by warm bass lines from Jason Renehan and passionate drumming from Rory Day, Firm Filters’ songs tell the story of youth, love, struggle and everyday life. Their debut album arrives later this year.

SKABHANGERS are back again in the front bar of Bar Open, this time for a Thursday evening show! Pop in on your way back home from work, grab a beverage, and enjoy two sets of original songs and tunes influenced by the sound of 1960s ska! Two sets from 6:30pm, free entry!
