Fenn Wilson and Jack Kong have emerged from the grim reality of Melbourne’s prolonged lockdown and will return for an intimate solo performance showcasing two of Australia’s finest young songwriters. Join Fenn and Jack on Sunday the 14th of November at the Retreat Brunswick for two sessions starting at 12.30pm and 3.00pm.

Fenn’s voice is deep, resonant and emotive, and expressive well beyond his years. His songwriting forms a snapshot of his recent past; brushes with heartache, depression, world-weariness and uncertainty, and often lightened with compassionate observation, love and redemption.

Jack’s songs traverse themes of human existence and universal experience. Jack pairs his honest demeanour harmoniously with imaginative lyrics and thoughtful explorations of song form, rhyme and metre; inviting the listener to reflect in the landscapes of Jack’s story-telling.
