Alexander 'Acky' Munro was a loving father, and dedicated and devoted fan and supporter of the local metal scene and of all things heavy metal. Acky had been battling a lifelong medical disorder and was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

At the start of April, a disbanded Espionage had begun planning a benefit show for Acky and his family. Acky had chosen the bands himself and hoped to be here for it, but unfortunately, Acky lost his battle at the end of that same month.

On October 6 at Stay Gold, we will remember and celebrate the life of Alexander 'Acky' Munro, as the man himself wanted - at a heavy metal show with Espionage, Orpheus Omega and Envenomed, performing in tribute to Acky and raising money for his family and son. All proceeds go to Acky's family.
