Following the release of their two singles this year, Ella Trinidad are excited to announce the launch party of their first EP called ‘Belleza Maldita’ (Beautiful Impostor). It will be held at The Night Cat on Sunday 28th November for the first Domingo Latino back after lockdown #6.
The EP features the original works of Romy Hernandez (musical director and piano player) and Claudia Osegueda (lead singer). The arrangements, which are done in collaboration with Jethro Negron (drum kit and timbales), are inspired by the timba and salsa styles of Cuba.
Ella Trinidad aim to place Melbourne-made Latin music in the world music map by developing their sound within the Australian context. Check out their first EP and join the celebration!
