El Rito Brings a New Latin Music Ritual to Melbourne at Bodriggy Brewpub.

Melbourne’s Latin music scene is set to ignite this March with the launch of El Rito, a brand new annual Latin music ritual hosted at Bodriggy Brewpub in Abbotsford.

More than just a party, El Rito is designed as a once a year mini festival celebrating Latin culture through live music, dance, food and community. The event will feature three live bands delivering high energy performances, alongside Latin-inspired drink specials including the iconic Pisco & Coke.

Bodriggy’s Latin influenced menu, crafted to match the vibrant flavours of the night, is another highlight, offering bold tastes that perfectly pair with the music and drinks.

Organisers describe El Rito as a tradition in the making, a night that transforms Bodriggy into a vibrant Latin dancefloor where culture and celebration collide.

“Latin nights happen everywhere, El Rito is about creating something people recognise, remember and come back to every year,” says organiser and Sorbo Amplio frontman Joshua Laurie.

The launch edition takes place on Sunday March 8 at Bodriggy Brewpub, promising an afternoon to late night celebration packed with rhythm, colour and energy. The event also coincides with Laurie’s birthday, adding an extra layer of festivity to an already high - octane night.
