Yes, the Democratic People’s Republic of Surf will be barrel rollin’ back onto the Yah’s bandstand on Friday October 25th. An evening that allows ticket holders to stick around and boogie for no extra charge!

And with the upcoming opening of URBNSURF (the first man-made surf park facility in Australia, and the world’s first full-sized Wavegarden Cove), what better way to scrub up on your technique with a lesson from this sextet and their staunch agenda of lo-fi garage surf rock! Always a chaotic live show and one that we recommend staying between the flags, Y Street and Danika Smith will be paddlin’ on down for it too.

Oh and as with all Democratic Peoples Republic of Surf shows, if anyone knows Mark Occhilupo can you let him know that there’ll be $10 Espresso Martinis ALL NIGHT and that he’s on the door.

Emerging electronic two-piece Sumner are heading over from the Apple Isle for a live performance at the seediest hours in Fitzroy! Gaining attention on compositions such as single “Pictures”, one that taste maker blogs such as Hilly Dilly were simply drawn to for “…choruses that are bursting with synths, and groovy segments that consist of edgy guitar bits and distorted vocals”, the group have already supported the likes of Vera Blue, PNAU, Montaigne, Alex Lahey, Slowly Slowly, and performing at Party In the Paddock Festival and Falls Festival.

And yes it’s technically the Saturday morning, but you’re still out from the night before and looking for a spot of live music…
