In anticipation of the release of his fourth album ‘Kimosabè’, Dope Lemon today announces Australian dates for September this year, kicking the tour off with the Forum on September 14th.

Dope Lemon, aka Angus Stone, is eyeing a busy year ahead with festival performances at Lollapalooza, Osheaga, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits, and now his Australian tour in support of his upcoming album release. Out on September 1, ‘Kimosabè’ is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s Rose Pink Cadillac, which peaked at number one on the ARIA Vinyl Chart and ARIA Album Chart, and was crowned as triple j’s Feature Album the following year.

Kimosabè represents a divine and boundless universe, embracing listeners with open arms and is the first Dope Lemon album to unveil the face of Angus Stone, the project's visionary, on its cover. Stone says "In the past, the artwork has been real anonymous, in a way, because I was trying to explore these styles, and having this shield in front of me was beautiful. For this record, I had moments of clarity reflecting on my childhood and I was able to see where I want to be in the future. Putting myself on the cover just felt right."

Don’t miss these shows where you will enter the world of Kimosabè, a magical place with a time capsule filled with arcane treasures from across the world awaits you. Step in and relax; have a drink, remember all the memories you thought you’d forgotten from your past – and imagine the roads you might take from there.
