Carefully considered compositions that facilitate heavy doses of improvisation, Don Glori’s music reflects a deep fascination in jazz, house, soul and Brazilian music. His first EP Dawn Calling was released to rave reviews, attracting widespread support from the likes of PBS, RRR, Worldwide FM, NTS radio, Balamii and Tokyo FM. One year on, Don Glori has been consistently turning heads and piquing ears, proving to be just as well equipped for the festival circuit as he is for an intimate club show. Backed by an all star band, don't miss your chance to experience Don Glori before they embark on an action packed debut tour.

For this special show (and his first headline show since 2020), Don Glori brings together three of Naarm's most compelling live acts to the Curtin. Joined by Allysha Joy - a pillar of the burgeoning nu-jazz and soul scene that Naarm/Melbourne is fast becoming known for, and Izy - a band whose sense of groove can only be described as telepathic. This is a night not to be missed - expect soulful harmonies, tilted rhythms, back-breaking grooves and mesmerizing performances.

This event will take place on the stolen lands of the Wurrundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging and pay their respect to all First Nations people. Sovereignty was never ceded.
