Two-piece rock band MIRROR CLIPPERS are launching their much anticipated DEBUT ALBUM on SATURDAY 25th of October 2025 at CACTUS ROOM, 614 High St, Thornbury with supports from SAN + MOTORIN + SNAILGUN

MIRROR CLIPPERS are Naarm/Melbourne duo Daniel Brates and Adrien Siboulet aka SiB.

Somewhere between CAN, BEAK> and Thee Oh Sees, Mirror Clippers carve out a sound that is relentless, fast, hypnotic and gentle all at the same time. The pair fuse psych, doom, krautrock, and avant-garde into a two-piece storm of analogue fuzz-driven power rock. While both share vocal duties, Daniel anchors drums & synth and Adrien simultaneously plays guitar & bass through an original hybrid instrument — a uniquely Melbourne-made creation nicknamed The Gass. Mirror Clippers create a sound far bigger than two people should.

Their self-titled debut LP explores themes of love, betrayal, grief and release, carried by grooves that stretch from chaos to beauty in a single breath.

Recorded live in just one day at Soundpark Studios in Northcote with Andrew Hehir aka Idge and mastered by Mikey Young (Eddy Current Suppression Ring), Mirror Clippers’ debut album captures the raw intensity of a band that thrives on catharsis, tension and unworldly tones.

Having cut their teeth headlining many of Melbourne’s most beloved live music venues over the last two years, Mirror Clippers are now set to release and celebrate their debut LP at their favourite haunt, Cactus Room.

SAN - SAN are a newgaze quartet from Naarm, attempting to soundtrack the end of the world. A blend of melodic textures, ethereal vocals, and walls of harsh noise: songs to gaze into the void to.

MOTORIN - The disgruntled throttle-rock engine of Motorin (formerly MotorInn) return to Melbourne’s stages after a short hiatus, taking the grid with a new lineup. With blues stalwart TK “Kick-off” Reeve and the “Bastard of Baritone” Billy LaBek still at the helm, they welcome Travis “The Wheels” Akers of former Fall of the Union fame into the fray on the bottom end. With a special guest drummer taking the "batterie" for Motorin’s return, get ready for some re-styled garage/boogie/chooglin’ psych in the Motorin’s favourite Melbourne garage - The Cactus Room

SNAILGUN - Snailgun is a three piece post punk/noise rock band featuring aggressive and clangy guitars with catchy hooks and rhythmic grooves. For fans of bands like Shellac, The Jesus Lizard, Girls Against Boys, Gang of Four, Dinosaur Jr, SST, Dischord records and late 70s post punk. We have been told we sound like Future of the Left, Hot Snakes, and Polvo and didn't object to these comparisons.
