Bold, angular and soaked in the kind of theatrics pined for by every fan of great live music, Melbourne collective Destrends offers up a seamless blend of modern Australian post-punk, British rock, and driving 80s new wave. Cutting their teeth on the local scene, the fast-rising four-piece has gone on to sell out a raft of hometown shows, scoring support slots with the likes of King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Spiderbait, and more. With a debut album set for release in 2023 (produced by Alex Markwell, collaborator with The Delta Riggs, Portugal the Man, Mark Ronson, and more), Destrends next play Hotel Westwood in Footscray on Saturday 2 July.

Middle Name Dance Band is the trio of Sampology, KUZCO & Sam Stosuur. The collaborative project was intended as a one-off studio project for the 2018 released Middle Name Dance Tracks Vol.

They are coming to Footscray and bringing their vibrant show along with them.
