Death by Prog' is the ultimate lunch time prog metal extravaganza. Four bands - all of whom will be showcasing their latest releases.

PAEON are brand new to the Melbourne metal scene. Their sound draws from the ambient spaces of Tool and pummelling riffs of Trivium, and they will be sharing music from their upcoming debut EP.

Grasshole are a two-piece rock band from Melbourne, Australia, combining elements of garage, fuzz and stoner punk to create their wild and progressive sonic. Drawing influence from 90’s rock, their sound is described as heavy, energetic and deeply melodic. Having toured across Europe prior to the pandemic, they launched their latest album 'Wildfire' before being forced into a long hibernation ... until now!

Black Sea of Trees present their debut album 'The Spiritual Beast’. The influences hint of melancholy, blackened metal and Opeth. Black Sea of Trees will take you on a progressive metal pilgrimage through their dark progressions, ambience and soaring melodies.

Verona Lights celebrate the release of their 3rd album ‘Minos’. Minos contains moments reminiscent of 2000s alternative metal; Deftones and Mudvayne just to name a few. Verona Lights have paved their way in the Melbourne scene as a force to be reckoned with.
