The Molly Hadfield Social Justice Oration returns for its twelfth iteration, always a highlight in the Darebin community calendar. This annual event was established in 2013, in tribute to the social justice legacy of local trailblazer Molly Hadfield OAM. This year's oration explores the intersections of social justice, resistance, music and gender.

Esteemed music industry professionals Candice Lorrae, Janelle Johnstone and Marita Dyson are this year's guest orators. The event will be MC'd by artist, writer and curator Zena Zada Cumpston, following her appearance as a speaker at the 2025 Oration.
