Rooted in the vibrant traditions of Afro-Cuban rhythm and propelled by a forward-looking jazz sensibility, the Havana Jazz Quartet is a powerhouse ensemble blending deep musical heritage with fearless improvisation.

At the piano, Aynsley Green brings elegance, invention, and a modern touch. His playing is both harmonically rich and rhythmically alive—melding classic Cuban motifs with contemporary jazz phrasing to create a compelling narrative in every solo. Pat Thiele on trumpet commands attention with his warm tone, lyrical sensibility, and impeccable technique. His lines soar with bebop influence, yet remain grounded in the soulful expressiveness of Cuban and Latin American musical idioms. Holding the groove with finesse is Yunior Terry on bass—an internationally acclaimed Cuban bassist known for his deep pocket, melodic clarity, and rhythmic intuition. His playing is the heartbeat of the quartet, seamlessly tying together complex harmonic and rhythmic structures. On drums, Pablo Calzado infuses the group with energy, precision, and authenticity. A master of Cuban rhythms and global jazz forms, Calzado brings drive and texture to every performance, anchoring the ensemble with both subtlety and fire.

Havana Social Club

Havana Social Club is a group that specialise in Cuban music and from Latin America, the main purpose of the band is to expose more of the Cuban culture and their music in Asia and the world. We have members from Cuba, Singapore, Australia, USA and we all share the passion for the sound and the vibrancy of the Cuban and Latin music. Also as a tribute to the amazing Buena Vista Social Club that has been a very important impulse to the international audience to get to know the Cuban music.

Havana Social Club have been together and performing in Australia and Asia since 2014 at venues such as:

The group has been Formed by Pablo Calzado Morales (Cuban Drummer and Percussionist).
