Line dance, karaoke, cold beers and community – a participatory dance marathon at Coburg RSL this Melbourne Fringe.

Join Deep Soulful Sweats as we bring the dance floor to the forecourt of the Coburg RSL in a participatory dance marathon, 'Crystal Touch'. Over 4 hours, you can be part of a looping dance routine, created from a collage of line dance, house dance, tap dance, folk and bush dances, focusing on simple footwork and spatial patterns.

If you’re not into dancing, you can pick up the mic and contribute to the karaoke soundtrack, or sip on a cold one from Coburg RSL’s extensive beer selection.

‘Crystal Touch’ creates a collective space that’s been missed by many throughout this long pause.

Participants can come and go as they please, dropping in and out to rest, eat, drink, leave and return. Its free, no booking required and no dance experience neccessary – wear comfortable shoes!
