Founded by charismatic, musically gifted singer-songwriter Lachlan Rose, the music of Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird is infectious, honest, eclectic and original. In addition to Rose, the band features Francesca Gonzales (vocals/keyboards), Nick Reid (drums), Matthew Hayes (bass) and Peter Simonsen (guitar/keys/vocals).

To date the band have released two EPs, Queen of Hearts (2015) and Melbourne Bitter (2017), and two albums Electric Brown (2018) and New Romancer (2019). With their prolific output and constant touring, Cousin Tony have built a devoted following. They’ve sold out headline tours around the country, and have played at numerous festivals including Falls Festival, Loch Hart, Happy Wanderer, NYE on the Hill and Beyond the Valley.
