Well respected Melbourne four piece Cold Irons Bound recall the distorted twang that runs through The Long Ryders, The Jayhawks & Drive By Truckers while also keeping an ear keenly tuned to the jangle of The Teenage Fanclub, Big Star and the melodic best from their native land.

Chasing songs still has CIB as wide eyed as it ever did. The hunt can be as beguiling as the catch and it keeps a rock and roll band keen. Some tunes are hard fought and won whilst others can unexpectedly appear as gifts and you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth. Lets be honest, if it’s all ya know, well then you just keep on keeping on...

Join Senator Lidia Thorpe and I along with some of the city's best musicians for Celestival - a celebration of Melbourne's arts scene this April 30th at The Tote!

Headlining will be harmony-laden grunge group Moody Beaches, with support from Chasing Ghosts' rollicking pub rock and Plovers' catchy post-hardcore. DJ Stevie Whatever of Clowns fame will be spinning the decks between sets and long into the night. Join us to groove to tunes, get rid of some of the election stress and celebrate the return of live music!
