More details ↓

Clap Hands is the relatively new rock and roll 'slow band project' of Berlin born, Perth raised, Sydney bred, Melbourne based singer/songwriter Sascha Klave.

Quietly releasing mostly self-recorded singles and accompanying low-fi video clips since 2019, Clap Hands has played many of the key venues across Melbourne and have recently released their latest single ‘Bet It All’, which has had airplay courtesy of FBI and PBS.

Currently indulging a stripped-back solo version of the band with Sascha on guitar and vocals, Clap Hands is excited to head back to the Drunken Poet for the first time since lockdown, where punters will be treated to some sweet indie blues, sad ballads and some noisy-ish rock and roll.

Craig Woodward is one of Melbourne’s premier old-time musicians, he has been playing fiddle, guitar, banjo and mandolin for over twenty years.

A Poet favourite!
