A night of table-top dancing & spirit-swilling South-East-European melancholy!

Stokavski is a collective of Balkan musicians from across Melbourne including  current and past members of Opa Bato Balkan Brass, The Seducaphones, Byzantine Blue, Romanes Canes and others.

The Stokavski collective play in various formations showcasing traditional and modern Balkan music from the soul!

Stefan Nocevski:

One of Australia’s finest young trumpeters, Stefan Nocevski is the Antipodean representative of the Balkan brass traditions. Heavily active in various performing circuits, Stefan weaves a unique traditional fusion sound that moves audiences across jazz, ska and Balkan genres
