Chloe Violette will be celebrating the long awaited release of her debut album, Colourfast, on Feb 28 at The Grace Darling.
With a full band show and supports from Kelsey Jean & The Bad Health and Field Dream, this launch will be a special celebration of the vibrant network of Victorian creatives that Chloe has collaborated with on this project.
About Chloe:
Chloe Violette is a singer-songwriter whose work blends folk, indie pop, and atmospheric storytelling. The Gippsland based artist exudes charm with songs that evoke a captivating combination of heartache and hopefulness. Drawing deep inspiration from the suburban landscapes of inner city Melbourne (Naarm) and the stillness of regional Victoria, Gippsland (Brataualung Country).
Colourfast is a deeply personal and collaborative work, shaped in partnership with a vibrant network of Victorian creatives. The album brings intimate songwriting and visual storytelling and is inspired by artists such as Lizzy McApline, Phoebe Bridgers and Melbourne locals including Angie McMahon, Rowena Wise and Merpire. Recorded in regional spaces, iconic Melbourne Studios (NewMarket, BellBird) and supported by local artists across music, design, and media, Colourfast reflects the interconnectedness of Chloe’s artistic and collaborative practice.

Eli and friends are in The Basement. Celebrate the release of Eli’s second single ‘I Love You All The Time’ on the 28th of February at Grace Darling.
We had such a good time at our sell out single launch in January, we thought we’d do it again.
Eli is a three-piece, dance-influenced indie band whose sound is as expansive as it is immersive —
Their shows feature wide, thunderous guitar tones, virtuosic live breakbeats, and gut-melting bass,
— all enhanced by pre-programmed smoke and lighting. Eli crafts songs that tell meaningful stories while channeling the chaos and power of modern electronic sound design. An Eli set is immersive, unforgettable, and almost unbelievable.
Eli will be joined by Indigo King and Quad B:
Indigo King is an Alt-pop, genre-blending artist whose sound drifts between many sonic worlds. Drawing inspiration from Indie-pop, alt-folk, and electronic music, she crafts immersive soundscapes shaped by textured vocals, emotive lyricism, and warm, atmospheric production. Her writing traces the intersections between self, others, and the world around her. Performed as a dynamic duo of voice, keys, guitar, and electronic percussion, Indigo’s live sets invite listeners to sway, soften, and sink into her confessions and reflections.
Quad B is a forward-thinking ensemble pushing DnB and jungle through a hybrid of acoustic and electronic instrumentation. Their sets move fluidly between original compositions and reimagined covers of influential artists such as Squarepusher, Kaidi Tatham and Goldie. Drawing from the wider UK sound system tradition, Quad B’s music is deeply informed by jazz improvisation, instrumental hip hop, and bruk.
I Love You All The Time will be available everywhere from February 18th. We look forward to celebrating with you.
