Checkerboard Lounge featuring very special guest Shenzo Gregorio from Brisbane bringing possibly the world’s wildest electric violin and 5 string viola to Melb in a very rare sighting. Shenzo is most known from his work with Rock String Quartet ‘Fourplay’ and Shenzo’s Electric Stunt Orchestra where he would shred the most incredible violin being thrown around from a cherry picker.

Not only does he have all the deadly classical chops (as in ALL of them), he’s a master of jazz, blues and world stylings – it’s a tad hard to believe – so you’d better just dig it for yourself..

In a recent tour in QLD, Checkerboard invited Shenzo to play with them and the master improvisers tournament was on. It was such a great fit, they invited him back to Vic for this one-off show. Fun will be had!
