This special one off evening will feature a band comprised of Melbourne musicians performing songs from his surprisingly vast and deep catalogue, for such a short lived career.
Now 60 years ago at just 22, Buddy Holly along with Ritchie Valens, The Big Bopper & pilot Roger Peterson tragically passed away in a light plane crash in Clear Lake, Iowa whilst on a lengthy tour called "The Winter Dance Party", which became known as the day the music died.
Join us as we strive to keep his music alive & celebrate his legacy with a full rock band, rotating singers, performing all the hits including Peggy Sue, Heartbeat, Oh Boy, That'll Be The Day, Everyday, Maybe Baby plus lots more.
