Hailing from Dunsborough, a sleepy coastal town in southwest WA, Brayden Sibbald is a regular on the wineries and weddings circuit. While he's used these gigs to hone his performance to a fine art, he's been quietly developing his own sound - a dark, electronic dreamscape created from sample pads, keys, a drum machine, guitar, and those powerful vocals.
The 23-year-old, who has a prodigious ability to create an entire sonic world from his bedroom, is being compared to the likes of D.D. Dumbo. Just ask producer Matt Gio who, despite working with names like Troye Sivan and Rudimental, says Sibbald's debut EP is one of the best records he's ever worked on.
Sibbald will be touring nationally for the first time ever this October - hitting venues in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, followed by a hometown show in Dunsborough
