Bomin Kim is a New York-based jazz pianist/composer known for her genre-crossing versatility and evocative musical storytelling. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she has performed in celebrated venues across Korea and the U.S., including Jazz on Main, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, ShapeShifter Lab, and Nublu, as well as on a national tour in Korea with the Bomin Kim Group in 2025.

Bomin Kim’s music, as the awardee of the 2023 AAPI Songwriter Scholarship from Ascap Foundation, is characterised by highly poetic and lyrical melodies, along with distinctive classical harmonic progressions. The synergy between her well-crafted, melodic original compositions and the exceptional improvisational performances of accompanying musicians is enough to bring great joy and satisfaction to audiences. Her colourful arrangements of standards, infused with her unique style, and the polished band sound developed over two years of school band experience, also provide ample entertainment for jazz enthusiasts on your night.
