Bluetile Lounge persevered with refining a unique downtempo sound in Perth in the mid-1990s adrift from contemporary rock values, favouring slow burn permanence to quick reward.

Although upon release their two albums “lowercase” (1995) and “Half | Cut” (1998) went largely unrecognised, in the decades since they have endured and been rediscovered to achieve cult status as a singular fusion of the “slowcore”, “post-rock” and “shoegaze” genres.

The Brunswick Ballroom plays host to Bluetile Lounge’s first live performance in over 20 years.
