Birdpop was born in a Brunswick shed on a Friday afternoon in February, 2022. Jack Spencer texted friend D’arcy Noonan asking, “know any good drummers?” Beatrice Bleechmore had never drummed in her life. The group were joined by Spencer’s former housemate, Sonny “Electric” Witton on lead guitar. They were quickly called up to play shows alongside internationally acclaimed Australian acts such as Romero, Possible Humans, Floodlights, Bad // Dreems and Girl & Girl."Guess What?!" was recorded at Sound Recording Studios in Djaara Country. Guess What?! will be launched at the Brunswick Ballroom, on September the 14th.
