Transportive and with a penchant for drama, Naarm/Melbourne’s Taylah Carroll lays the world before her listener on new single ‘Intentions’, out now on [PIAS] Australia. Produced by Tim Harvey (Gena Rose Bruce, Jade Imagine) and recorded at Soundpark Studios in Northcote, the track boasts a contrast between sarcasm and vulnerability, directness and ownership; all placed within a full-circle acknowledgment and interpretation of events within a relationship.

A combination of her commanding vocals and idiosyncratic dance moves have led to a national tour with Harrison Storm, and support slots for Gena Rose Bruce, Powderfinger's Darren Middleton, ARIA-nominated OLYMPIA and more. Other notable performances include a Small Time Studio performance (which accrued the most views of any recording in the space), Live n’ Local Festival and Beyond Boundaries Festival (alongsideTelenova, RAT!hammock, Hachiku).

Taylah celebrates the release with an intimate performance, backed by her live band, to be hosted upstairs at The Gasometer on Friday the 26th of August!
