Tasmania/lutruwita based artist Ben Salter is one of Australia’s most highly regarded performers and songwriters. His eclectic, esoteric music defies easy classification, drawing on elements of indie rock, folk, jazz, electronica, country and beyond whilst maintaining a coherent and inimitable melodic style that coalesces around his powerful and emotive voice.

Ben’s latest album ‘MAYDAY’ is out now - an epic collection of 46 tracks recorded during his most recent stint as artist-in-residence as part of his Import/Export installation at MONA in Hobart. Ben will perform tracks from MAYDAY as well as the album “twenty-one words for happiness” released earlier this year on Tasmanian label Rough Skies, plus live favourites from his rapidly expanding back catalogue.
