Ben Carr harness' the energy of the Sun (Ra) to create a warm round sound searching for possibilities. Informed by contemporary jazz, and the pioneers of the late 80’s M-Base movement, the compositions resonate the sonic abstract imagery of bonfires during the Solstice, undulating mountain trails, still silent water, and improvisations that encompass our solar system.

The Detours are a Melbourne/Naarm-based rock band blending shoegaze, classic rock, and funk-driven groove into one genre-bending sound. Inspired by the artistry of Prince, the soul of Stevie Wonder, and the punch of Paramore, they fuse dreamy flow with driving force, honouring the past while pushing forward.
