Baptism of Uzi are launching their live album "Alive in Buzi World II" at the Tote band room with a very special secret guest, Green Blanket and Emotion Picture. Having recently released a studio single "1D Maggot" the live album, mixed by Stive Collins, showcases all of the bands strengths: anti-garage shlocky prog-rock, operatic majesty, 90s grunge humiliated by classic rock, cosmiche music pranked by the heaviest riffs.
They've played massive festivals: Splendour in the Grass, Meredith, St Jeromes - they've supported big hitters - The Darkness (yes), Michael Rother (Neu!), King Gizz, Damo Suzuki (Can). They had a "radio hit" with "Stray Current" and won JJJ unearthed. See them return as they preview material from the 1D Maggot Album later in the year.
On the line-up the main support is a band known for their improvisational live wire performance, Green Blanket from Geelong who put out an incredible double album last year, "Future Bent Dream", that is as experimental and heavy as it is catchy, and "Trouble Peach who are alternative country rousers and true legends of the scene"
"Alive in Buzi world II" It's gross and it rocks. Get blown away by the sickest stunts.
