Giving back to the local band community and creating a supportive space for bands to perform, has always been the heart of the venue. The Battle of the Bands will provide a space for up-and-coming bands and local music lovers alike to come together.

GEORGIA RAY: Georgia Ray is an independent singer-songwriter based in Melbourne. Influenced by the likes of Avril Lavigne, The Lemonheads and more, she has been writing and playing music ever since she can remember. Blurring the lines between Americana, rock and pop genres, Georgia’s music captures a nostalgic yet refreshing and unique sound, while exposing her raw narratives of love, loss and hope.

MONROE: Monroe are a 5 piece rock band hailing out of the South East Melbourne suburbs. Embodying the spirit of their 70s/80s pop rock predecessors, Monroe aim to combine a modern twist with infectious guitar riffs, sing along choruses and Van Halen-esque onstage antics. Their live performances are unforgettable and energetic to say the least, often incorporating dramatic lighting displays to accompany their electrifying music. Fueled by the high flying energy and siren like screams of frontman Jordan, pyrotechnics of lead guitarist Rocco, their in your face flashiness is accentuated by the groovy rhythm section of Bassist Christian and rhythm guitarist Jason. This is all capped off with the heavy artillery drumming of Brandon, providing the sounds to their visually striking live performances! This is a band you do not want to miss out on!
PEPPER LA FLOYD: Pepper La Floyd are an emerging alternative indie rock band from Melbourne but aren't like any other. Their sound is encapsulated by their strong vocal harmonisations, dreamy guitar riffs and groovy bass lines. Having already played iconic Melbourne venues such as The Tote and The Retreat Hotel, Pepper La Floyd are excited to release original music and continue gigging around Melbourne.
RED LIQUORICE: Red Liquorice is a groove-infused rock group with a catalogue offering a variety of sounds. We try to offer our unique brand of rock, with light influences like Kings of Leon and Bruce Sprinsteen.
SKIPTONS: SKIPTONS are an indie rock quartet born in the south eastern suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne. Energetic highs, sombre lows and punchy riffs are all apart of the SKIPTONS Experience.
