Ausecuma Beats is a nine-piece ensemble based in Melbourne, Australia, that serves as a musical bridge between continents and cultures. Led by master djembe player and bandleader Boubacar Gaye, the group transplant their rich cultural heritage—hailing from Senegal, Mali, Guinea, and beyond—into a contemporary urban environment, creating a vibrant, dance-fuelled sound that blends traditional African rhythms with modern, cosmopolitan influences.
