Described as “Very Brilliant” by legendary BBC Radio 6 presenter and tastemaker Gilles Peterson, Melbourne trumpeter/vocalist Audrey Powne is a name synonymous in music circles with ingenuity and inventiveness. In addition to her solo career her virtuosity has seen her work as a session musician alongside artists including Jimmy Barnes, Midnight Oil and The Teskey Brothers.

Audrey will be joined by some of her favourite local musicians and stalwarts of the local jazz scene to play a collection of her favourite standards from the likes of Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn.
