Musical Sporks!

It’s a thing!

Musical Sporks is an upcoming regular poetry gig where you have the option of performing your poetry to music, there will be a set menu of five tracks made by George O’Hara (aka Fluxofhumour) each with a mood or energy, Angry, Horny, Sad, Atmospheric, and Beats, the tracks will occasionally change as will the moods as we get a feel for what people want.

You can also bring your own music, or perform with no music at all. Unlike the regular Assorted Sporks gig this will be theme and feature free, but there will be links to the tracks on the Facebook and Patreon if you want to use the music to guide your writing.

This gig will be every 4 weeks in 2026 Come along and see how your poetry feels alongside music!

To keep this event a safe space for everyone, there will be no hate speech or your mic will be turned off and you may be asked to leave the stage.

Mamma Chen’s is a wheelchair accessible venue however, the stage is not; we can organise lift access to the stage if you contact us at least a week prior to the event.
