Journey of Sound & Vault of Sound present Anyasa

Known for refined, emotive productions and immersive sets, Anyasa has earned international recognition through releases on Anjunadeep and Diynamic, crafting a sound that sits at the intersection of melodic house and techno.

With widely supported EPs including Gaya, Athena, and Apollo, and standout remixes for artists such as Eelke Kleijn and Marsh, Anyasa continues to build a reputation as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary electronic music.

His performances have reached leading venues and festivals worldwide, including Brooklyn Mirage (New York), Savaya Bali, DGTL Amsterdam, and Printworks (London).

This event marks Anyasa’s Melbourne debut.

Mystic post-punk and heavyweight live dub collide as YL Hooi teams up with Mad Professor for a rare, room-shaking collab.

Efficient Space’s 10-year celebrations continue with Chapter II at Howler on Sunday 15 March, pairing YL Hooi with Mad Professor.

After a prolonged hiatus, Valya Ying-Li Hooi + Tarquin Manek return YL Hooi to the stage, joined by percussionist Rama Parwata. Their mystic post-punk will be dubbed live by Ariwa architect Mad Professor, teasing new material and a forthcoming cross-over release. The Guyanese-British legend will then follow this unlikely-to-be-repeated collaborative session with a two-hour solo live dub set.

Opening the evening, Yunzero presents a DJ/visual set, fresh from his demented white-label edits on Best Effort. A bassist in the warped pop outfit Cloud Ice 9 and member of the mercurial dummy tree, Yunzero has also released on forward-thinking imprints West Mineral Ltd and .jpeg Artefacts.
