Australia’s Roots Music King, ANDY BAYLOR, hosts a show which takes us on an easy ride through the various styles of music that he has championed over the last 40 or so years that has helped make Melbourne the “Roots Music Capital of the World”.

Country Blues, Western Swing, folksy Cajun and Creole fiddle music, Boogie Woogie, Gospel and hometown originals… it’s all in there. With special guests Sarah Carroll vocals, Professor Ed Bates pedal steel guitar, Jazz legend Steve Grant on accordion, percussionist Denis Close, Double bass Andrew Scott and drummer Phil Collings, plus Sophie Dunn on strings plus more special guests to be announced.

“When I was livin’ in Southern Louisiana many years ago, I learned from the Cajuns that you make your own music strong from mixing it up. Like a good gumbo or stew, you add a bit of this and a bit of that, whatever you like. Of course you gotta know how to add some spice n heat for it to come together and I learned how to do that too. When I came back to Melbourne that’s exactly what I did with my music- I cooked it up for the people” says Andy Baylor
